Adrienne E. Nordstrom

Adrienne E. Nordstrom joined Clapp|Moroney  in 1996, after serving as an associate at a Sacramento based litigation firm where she primarily handled the defense of construction defect actions.  Adrienne was made a partner in April 2003 and has developed her own team in the firm’s Pleasanton Office specializing in construction defect litigation, representing prominent developers, general contractors and subcontractors throughout Northern California and the San Joaquin Valley.  In addition to her significant litigation background, Adrienne has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution practices including the use of creative and cost-effective non-traditional ADR methods to effect more timely resolution of complex construction defect claims.

As part of her practice, Adrienne has particular expertise in the relationship of insurance to construction-related matters, including obligations to defend, tenders and indemnity issues.  She also  has spoken to groups and individual clients on pre-litigation Calderon and/or S.B. 800  phase claims and other construction law topics.

Adrienne received her B.A. in Political Science with a Public Law emphasis from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1989, and her J.D. in 1993 from McGeorge School of Law.  Adrienne is admitted to practice in California and Colorado and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Northern and Central Districts of California.  Adrienne is a member of the Alameda County Bar Association, the Contra Costa County Bar Association, the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and the Defense Research Institute.
