Paul Sheng joined Clapp, Moroney, Bellagamba, Vucinich, Beeman & Scheley as an associate in 2000, and attained the rank of Partner in March of 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Paul was employed with the national complex litigation firm Wright, Robinson, Osthimer & Tatum in San Francisco, and insurance coverage boutique firm Celebrezze & Wesley in San Francisco.
Paul’s litigation, insurance coverage, and appellate practice involves a wide area of law, including personal injury, products liability, public entity liability, commercial litigation/business disputes, construction defect, professional liability, real estate litigation, insurance coverage, and bad faith.
Paul has represented individuals, businesses, and public entities all over the State in arbitration, mediation, and trials. He has successfully tried court and jury trials to verdict as lead counsel, and has successfully argued appeals as lead counsel before the First Appellate District of the California Court of Appeal. He is approved coverage counsel for the Farmers Insurance National Large Loss Unit.
Paul Sheng graduated in 1994 from University of California at Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Political Science. He obtained his J.D. degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1998. During law school he completed a program with the University of San Diego Institute on International and Comparative Law in Barcelona, Spain and interned with the Santa Clara County Office of the County Counsel.
