Paulo S. Kline Simon

Paulo S. Kline Simon joined Clapp Moroney as an associate in 2011 and is a member of the Personal Injury and Products Liability Practice Groups. Prior to joining Clapp Moroney, Paulo clerked for the Honorable Judge Joseph Hurley of the Alameda County Superior Court in Oakland, California, advising the Court on legal questions including evidentiary issues, motions in limine, and Constitutional questions. During law school, Paulo spent two years working as a Bar Certified Law Clerk for the Santa Clara County Office of the Public Defender, allowing him to refine his courtroom manner with several hundred court appearances.

Paulo graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz, receiving a B.A. in Legal Studies. He received his J.D. from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 2010 and was awarded Graduating Student of the Year by the Public Interest and Social Justice Coalition. During law school, Paulo was the Director of the Honors Moot Court program, successfully implementing a plan to increase Santa Clara Law’s national recognition through Moot Court success. Paulo also represented Santa Clara Law as a Western Regional Quarter finalist in the American Constitution Society Moot Court Competition.

Paulo is admitted to practice in all California state courts. He is a member of the Alameda County Bar Association as well as the State Bar Litigation Section.
